The Junction (SL 700) is the only sublayer in The Junction.
Freezer/Forest Skip
By jumping or gliding to the other platform containing the second Terravoider, it is possible to completely skip the need to visit either the Forest or Freezer layer. By using the Ostrich Bananza, this can be taken a step further by allowing you to skip one (or both) of the terravoiders.

By landing on the first terravoider without touching the lower ground, you can use a balloon to bring DK back to the higher portion of the Freezer Divide.
